This mentorship model provides everything the other mentor ships offer, but with no hard deadline and a more flexible schedule. In this format, my role is similar to that of a therapist or a coach - I would be a consistent source of education, accountability, and connection during our time together. This is a great option for those who are already in school (elementary, middle, high school, college etc) who want to have art education outside of school. This model has worked well for professionals who work outside of art, but want to consistently make work (and want accountability/help setting realistic goals), or for those who have a long term project in mind. (Some examples: 2D animated short, webcomic, online store, or a more relaxed pace in building a portfolio)
By purchasing this consultation, you will have a 30 minute meeting with me to discuss what it is you are looking for in an indefinite mentorship for either you or someone else (your child, a student you know, etc). In this meeting we will also discuss ideal meeting times and frequency, if there is a rough end date or deadline you’d like to set anyway, and rates (which are more flexible in this model). Even if we decide to part ways after the consult and not proceed with the mentorship, I will still give advice on where I think you can get the education you desire, so you will walk away with some clarity on next steps. This way there is also no pressure to purchase a mentorship if you are buying this consultation.
